The newest of its three locations in the Philippines, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse BGC first opened its doors on December 22, 2018. Named after Wolfgang Zwiener, who founded the restaurant after his four-decade tenure as head waiter at a top New York steakhouse, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is known to serve some of the best steaks in the world. Wolfgang’s Steakhouse BGC maintains the same quality of service and exacting standards that earned the New York restaurant its revered reputation.

Like any of our other locations, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse BGC exclusively serves USDA Prime Black Angus or Angus Beef. Only 2% of the beef in the US market attain a USDA Prime rating, which ensures every slice of meat served at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is among the world’s finest.

In addition to that, the meat served in all of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse locations worldwide are from the Midwest, flown to each location chilled, never frozen. The centralized source and standard shipping conditions ensure that the quality of meat is the same whichever location you visit, be it New York, Tokyo, or in our very own Manila.

Once the USDA Prime Black Angus meats arrive at our location, they go through a dry-aging process, spending an average of 28 days in our proprietary dry-aging room. There, they are kept under strictly regulated conditions, where factors such as temperature, humidity, and air flow are carefully controlled with standards scientifically proven to allow the beef’s natural enzymes to breakdown connective tissue in muscles, resulting in a more tender slab of meat.
