Wolfgang’s Steakhouse BGC Celebrates its First Anniversary

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse first brought their world-renowned USDA Prime dry-aged meats from New York City to Manila back in February 2016. They introduced their world-class, dry-aged steak to the Philippines when they opened their first location in Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila. Three successful years later, its newest location in the country--Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Bonifacio Global City (BGC)--is celebrating its first year anniversary.

From New York to BGC

It all started in 2004, when Wolfgang Zweiner decided to put up his own steakhouse. With 40 years of industry experience under his belt, he opened the first location of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in New York. His mastery of wine and steak, and his appetite for excellence, ensured that everything served in Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is of the highest quality. It didn’t take long for Wolfgang’s Steakhouse to evolve into what it is today: an international brand known for the best steaks and impeccable service.

One would not need to travel to New York City to experience the feel and ambiance of the original Wolfgang’s Steakhouse. All their locations around the world pay homage to the design elements of the original– dark mahogany solid wood bars, wood-planked floors, alabaster chandeliers, wood wainscoting, and mosaic tiles.

Even the steak served at all Wolfgang’s Steakhouse locations are flown in weekly from the US, and dry-aged on-site for an average of 28 days. The same dedication to excellence that made the New York location so famous can be observed in all of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse locations around the world.

A Year of Amazing Accomplishments

It’s no surprise that once Filipinos got a taste of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, they wanted more. The BGC location was put up as an answer to the growing demand for quality food in an upscale steakhouse setting. But since its opening in December 2018, it’s done a lot more than just serve up steaks.

They’ve launched a Brunch Menu, available during weekends until 3pm, for guests to enjoy upgraded classics such as Eggs Benedict made with USDA Prime Filet Mignon and hefty Steak and Eggs.

Friday Nights at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse BGC is also one to look forward to for those who are in-the-know regarding W Nights. The world-famous steakhouse hosts this weekly event that boasts of good food and good music. On top of their signature dishes and all-day menu, customers can have a taste of the W Nights Specials that consist of delectable items such as Katsu Steak Sandwich, Mixed Crostinis, and Truffle Fries.

The cherry on top of the many accomplishments that Wolfgang’s Steakhouse BGC had on their first year is the Wine Spectator Award they received for their well-chosen assortment of quality fine wines from all over the world.
